When ER doctor Alyss Carol gets bitten by a mysterious patient, she seeks a scientific cure for her worsening medical condition that requires her to drink blood and work the nightshift at the hospital. With the help of her friend Gemma Vasquez, an artist with an embarrasing family history of fighting the occult, Alyss will travel the backroads of the Texas Hill Country looking for answers and investigating the supernatural world she's been thrust into against her will.
